A suspension takes an account out of service: locked, hidden or deleted, temporarily or permanently, for rule violations or tripped detection. It's the top of the penalty ladder, above blocks and reach restrictions, and the appeal process is the only road back.
The top of the ladder is reached by: severe or repeated content violations, coordinated fake behaviour (account farms, bot networks), automation running on credentials, compromised-account activity, and evasion.
Notice what's on that list and what isn't. Credential-based automation is enforcement's favourite target in growth. Receiving delivered counts at a public handle sits categorically lower in every platform's observed pattern, which is a risk description, not a promise; the contract text lives under terms of service.
Appeal fast, factually, once: state what happened, what you fixed, and ask for review. Serial appeals hurt. Meanwhile audit honestly: which tool had your login, which scheme touched the account, or whether a hijacker acted as you (phishing recovery starts here).
