Clipping Campaigns: How They Work and How to Pick One
We counted 55 live clipping campaigns: budgets, pay per 1,000 views, how many clippers each has, and six checks to run before you clip for one.
A clipping campaign is a budget a brand or creator puts up to pay clippers for short clips of its videos. You post clips on your own accounts, submit the links, and get paid for the views on clips the brand approves. On October 22, 2026, the median live campaign on Content Rewards paid $1.00 per 1,000 views, had $2,139 of its budget left, and already had 47 clippers on it.
We counted the 55 live campaigns on the Content Rewards board that morning and read the terms that brands and clippers sign. This guide covers the campaign types, where to find campaigns, how the platforms pay, and six checks to run before you clip for one.
What is a clipping campaign?
On Content Rewards, a campaign pays in one of four ways.
| Type | How clippers get paid |
|---|---|
| Per 1,000 views | A rate for every 1,000 verified views |
| Per post | A flat amount per approved clip |
| Retainer | A set amount each cycle |
| Pool | A share of one pot, split by views |
Content Rewards Organization Terms, read October 22, 2026.
The content can be clips of the brand's own videos, music edits, logo placements or original UGC. Every campaign needs a budget of at least $1,000. Brands pay Content Rewards a 10% fee on the work they approve, or 8% once they're verified. Clippers pay their own 10% on per-view payouts.
There's no automatic approval. The terms say a clip "stays Pending until reviewed by the Organization." If a brand pauses a campaign, new clips stop, but views on clips it already approved keep counting.
Where do you find clipping campaigns?
Several platforms list campaigns, and they don't pay the same way.
| Platform | How it pays | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Content Rewards | Median $1.00 per 1,000 views | 10% of your pay |
| ClipFlip | $30 to $200 per million views | 25% of the budget |
| Clipify | Per view, rate not shown | Not stated |
| clipping.net | Rate not shown | Not stated |
Each platform's own page, read October 22, 2026. The Content Rewards median is our count of its live board.
ClipFlip's rates look big until you do the math. $30 per million views is 3 cents per 1,000, and its livestream rate of $100 per million is 10 cents per 1,000. ClipFlip keeps 25% of every budget as its fee.
Clipify says clippers join through its Discord and earn "performance-based payouts instantly." It doesn't show a rate on its homepage. Clipping (clipping.net) says it has paid "$70M+" to clippers and has "90,000+" of them, and we can't check those numbers.
Clipping agencies that sell or share campaigns on Whop are another way in. Our guide to Whop clipping covers those, plus Whop's payout fees.
How big are clipping campaign budgets?
Most live budgets were between $2,500 and $25,000.
| Budget | Campaigns |
|---|---|
| $1,000 to $2,499 | 5 |
| $2,500 to $4,999 | 12 |
| $5,000 to $9,999 | 15 |

Our count of the 55 live campaigns on the Content Rewards board, October 22, 2026.
The median budget was $5,670. The biggest, at $311,335, had already used 99.6% of it.
How do you pick a good clipping campaign?
Run six checks on the campaign page before you edit anything.
| Check | What to look for | Board median |
|---|---|---|
| Rate | Pay per 1,000 views | $1.00 |
| Budget left | Money not yet used | $2,139 |
| Competition | Clippers already in | 47 |
| Caps | Minimum and maximum payout | Varies |
| Platforms | Where clips count | Three |
| Review | Who approves each clip | The brand |
Our count of the 55 live campaigns, October 22, 2026.
- The rate. Only 14 of 54 per-view campaigns paid $2.00 or more per 1,000 views.
- The budget that's left. A campaign won't pay once its money runs out. 25 of the 55 had less than a quarter left, and 14 had less than a tenth. Only 8 still had more than three quarters.
- The competition. The median campaign had 47 clippers and 297 submissions. The busiest had 3,603 clippers, and another had 56,146 submissions.
- The caps. A minimum payout means small clips never get reviewed. At $3 per 1,000 views with a $6 minimum, a clip needs 2,000 views first. A maximum caps one clip: a $3,000 cap at $3 stops paying at 1 million views. Some campaigns add a flat fee to every approved clip.
- The platforms. Post only where the campaign counts clips. Three platforms was the most common setup. On YouTube, plain re-uploads now get less reach in the Shorts feed, so add your own edit.
- The review. The brand approves each clip by hand. 21 of the 55 campaigns came from a verified brand, and 4 asked you to apply first.
Newer campaigns have more money left. Those funded less than a month earlier still had a median 67% of their budget, against 7% for those three months or older.
What do clipping campaigns pay?
At the median $1.00 per 1,000 views, 100,000 views earn $100 before fees. Content Rewards takes 10%, and pay settles about 10 days after a payout round opens. The full pay table and the withdrawal fees are in our guide to making money clipping.
What rules come with a clipping campaign?
You'll need to be 18 or older. Every campaign clip is a paid endorsement, so it needs a disclosure like #ad or a paid partnership tag. And buying or generating views, likes or followers gets you banned for good. That's also why growth services don't belong on campaign accounts.
Frequently asked questions
What is a clipping campaign?
A budget a brand or creator puts up to pay clippers for clips of its videos. Clippers post the clips, submit the links, and get paid for the views on clips the brand approves.
How do clipping campaigns work?
The brand sets a pay type, a rate and a budget, and shares its footage. You join, post clips on your own accounts, and submit them. The brand reviews each clip by hand, and approved clips earn until the budget or the cap runs out.
Where can I find active clipping campaigns?
On marketplaces like Content Rewards, ClipFlip, Clipify and clipping.net, and through clipping agencies on Whop. Content Rewards had 55 live campaigns on the first page of its board on October 22, 2026.
What are the best clipping campaigns right now?
The best one for you has budget left, few clippers and a rate you're happy with. On October 22, 2026, only 8 of 55 live campaigns had more than three quarters of their budget left.
How much can you earn from a clipping campaign?
At the median rate, $1.00 per 1,000 views, 100,000 views earn $100, or $90 after the 10% fee. Caps can stop a single clip earlier.
Are clipping campaigns effective for brands?
We can't measure that from the clipper side. What brands pay is public: at least $1,000 per campaign, plus a 10% platform fee on approved work, or 8% for verified brands.
