Whop Clipping: How It Works and What It Pays in 2026
Whop clipping explained: Content Rewards campaigns, Whop Clips, the 10% fee, the 10-day payout round, Whop's withdrawal fees and supported countries.
Whop clipping means getting paid per 1,000 views for short clips you post on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts or X. The name covers three things: campaigns on Content Rewards, Whop's own Whop Clips program, and clipping groups sold as whops. On October 22, 2026, the median live campaign on Content Rewards paid $1.00 per 1,000 views. Content Rewards keeps 10%, and Whop charges a fee each time you withdraw.
For this guide we read Whop's own pages, its fee list and its payout rules. We also read the Content Rewards terms and counted the 55 live campaigns on its board that morning.
What is Whop clipping?
Three different programs share the name, and they don't pay the same way.
| Program | Run by | How it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Content Rewards | Content Rewards Inc | Per 1,000 views, from brands |
| Whop Clips | Whop | Per 1,000 views, clips about Whop |
| Clipping groups | Agencies on Whop | Their own deals |
Content Rewards is the campaign marketplace. It started as an app inside Whop and now runs its own site. Campaigns you joined on the older Whop version stay on the older terms. Whop is still the company that moves the money: it handles payments, withdrawals and the ID checks.
Whop Clips is Whop's own program. It pays per 1,000 views for clips that promote Whop. In April 2025, Whop's blog said YouTube clips paid $1.25 per 1,000 views and that "budgets and payouts are subject to change." It's free to join, its page showed 1 million members on October 22, 2026, and submissions go through the Content Rewards app.
Clipping groups are agencies and communities that sell or share campaign access as a whop. One of them, Clipping Culture, calls itself "#1 Clipping Agency" and its page showed 529,590 joined.
How does Whop clipping work?
The steps don't change from one campaign to the next.
- Make an account. You have to be at least 18.
- Pick a campaign. Each one shows its rate per 1,000 views, its budget, the platforms it takes, and its rules.
- Post a clip from the campaign's footage on a platform it accepts, with a paid partnership tag or #ad.
- Submit the link to the posted clip.
- Wait for review. The brand approves or rejects each clip against its requirements, and a fraud score sits next to it.
- Get paid in rounds. Views are tracked for about 30 days. A payout round has 7 days of earning and a 3-day hold, so it settles about 10 days after it opens.
- Withdraw through Whop.
Whop says follower counts don't matter: "if your clip gets views, you get paid."
How do you pick a Whop clipping campaign?
Check five things on the campaign page before you edit anything.
- The rate. It's the pay per 1,000 views. The median on the board was $1.00.
- The budget that's left. A campaign stops paying when its budget runs out. Across the 55 we counted, 74.6% of the money was already used.
- The platforms. Post only where the campaign takes clips. Most took TikTok and Instagram.
- The minimum and maximum payout. A minimum means small clips never get reviewed. A maximum caps what one clip can earn.
- Whether you have to apply. Only 4 of the 55 asked for an application.
What budgets look like and how crowded campaigns get is in our guide to clipping campaigns.
How much does Whop clipping pay?
Most live campaigns paid between $1.00 and $1.99 per 1,000 views: 29 of 54.
| Pay per 1,000 views | Campaigns |
|---|---|
| Under $0.50 | 3 |
| $0.50 to $0.99 | 8 |
| $1.00 to $1.49 | 22 |
| $1.50 to $1.99 | 7 |
| $2.00 to $2.99 | 12 |
| $3.00 or more | 2 |
Our count of the 54 pay-per-view campaigns on the first page of the Content Rewards board, October 22, 2026.
The median was $1.00, and only 14 of 54 paid $2.00 or more. After the 10% fee, $1.00 per 1,000 views leaves you $0.90. TikTok was accepted by 51 of the 55 campaigns, Instagram by 48, YouTube by 35 and X by 12.
How do you get your money out of Whop?
You withdraw your balance through Whop, and Whop asks for three things first.
- An ID check. Whop's setup asks you to "fill in your details, link your bank, and upload ID."
- A minimum. Whop's docs list a minimum withdrawal of $10, where it applies.
- The right bank account. Outside the US, Whop needs a bank account in your country's own currency. It also pays out to mobile wallets and crypto wallets, depending on the country.
Standard payouts take up to 5 business days. Instant methods take a few minutes and cost more. From $100 of campaign pay, each method leaves you this much.
| Payout method | Whop's fee | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Next-day ACH (US) | $2.50 | $87.50 |
| Instant bank deposit | 4% + $2.50 | $83.90 |
| Crypto | 5% + $1.00 | $84.50 |
| Venmo (US only) | 5% + $2.50 | $83.00 |
| Bank wire | $23.00 | $67.00 |
$100 earned from views, minus Content Rewards' 10% fee, leaves $90. Then Whop's fee from its fee page, read October 22, 2026. Local bank transfers outside the US cost an amount that varies by country.
Does Whop clipping work in India, Pakistan or the Philippines?
Yes. Whop's payout list covers over 200 countries, and India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Bangladesh and Indonesia are all on it. You'll need a bank account in your local currency and an ID for the check.
Whop doesn't work in 26 sanctioned places. They include Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Syria, Myanmar and six regions of Ukraine. In those places, you can't open a Whop account or get a payout. The full list is on Whop's sanctions page.
Is Whop clipping legit?
Both companies are real and their terms are public. Whop Inc moves the money, and Content Rewards Inc, a Delaware company based in Beverly Hills, California, runs the campaigns. The money is real too: the 55 campaigns we counted listed $1.21 million in budgets, and 74.6% of it was already used.
The risk is in the fine print:
- Content Rewards takes 10% of every per-view payout.
- Pay settles about 10 days after a round opens, and Whop's withdrawal fee comes on top.
- Until money settles, it can be taken back if a clip is rejected later or a fraud flag is upheld.
- Buying or generating views, likes or followers means a permanent ban.
Older posts still say payouts are instant. Whop's own 2025 announcement said so. The current Content Rewards terms describe the 7-day round and 3-day hold instead.
Can you use bought views or followers for Whop clipping?
No. Content Rewards bans views, likes and followers you buy or generate, and the ban is permanent. That covers every growth service, ours included, on any account or clip you submit. More on that in our guide to making money clipping.
