Free Instagram Followers: We Checked 29 Free Sites in 2026
We read 29 free Instagram follower sites in October 2026: what each one gives, what it asks for, and the catches to avoid. No password needed.
Get free Instagram followers, no password, no survey
No password, no survey, no signup. Claimed in about 30 seconds, with a live tracking page like a paid order.
You can get free Instagram followers, but only in small batches. The free follower sites we could read on October 22, 2026 gave 10 to 100 followers per claim, and most gave 10 or 20. None of them asked for your Instagram password. The catches were somewhere else: accounts to sign up for, email lists, referral chains, manual approval, and pages that promise 1,000 and hand out 10.
We read the free follower pages of 29 sites that day, as text, without claiming anything. They're the brands people search for together with "free instagram followers." This guide shows what each one gives, what it asks for, which offers are dead, and why Google's top results for this search are mostly spam.
What do free Instagram follower sites give?
Eight of the sites stated a free amount on the page. The median was 10 followers.
| Site | Free followers | You give |
|---|---|---|
| Leofame | 20, every 24 hours | Username |
| Firezup | 10, every 24 hours | Username, account |
| Naizop | 10, every 12 hours | Username |
| SMM Center | 10 per order | Link, 30-minute wait |
| Mixx | 10, once | Username |
| Likes.io | 50, once | Email, approval |
| GetMyLikes | 1 to 10 | Account, 5 referrals |
What each site's own free page said on October 22, 2026, read as text. The eighth, InstaFollower.io, is in the next section.
"Every 24 hours" means one claim a day. SMM Center works differently: you paste your profile link, keep the page open through a 30-minute timer, and get 10 followers per order, up to 48 orders a day. SMM Center and Likes.io both say their free followers come with no refill.
Which sites offer a free Instagram followers trial?
Six of the 17 pages we could read call their offer a trial, and the word means different things on each.
- Leofame calls its page a "Free Instagram Followers Trial" and gives 20 followers every 24 hours. Our LeoFame review covers its prices and terms.
- SMM Center calls it a trial too: 10 followers per order, after a 30-minute timer.
- Likes.io offers a one-time trial of 50 followers, sent only if its team approves the request.
- GetMyLikes titles its page "Free 1000 Instagram Followers Trial" and gives 1 to 10.
- FameViso calls its claim a free trial and sends bigger requests to a task site.
- SimplyGram's trial is a sign-up for its growth service, with your name, email and target accounts.
A trial here means a small sample. Read what it gives and what it asks before you type your username.
What's the catch with free follower sites?
Most catches are written on the page, if you read past the headline.
- The title promises more than the form gives. GetMyLikes calls its page "Free 1000 Instagram Followers Trial." Its form offers 1 to 10 free followers, then asks you to make an account and refer 5 friends before the next batch.
- Nothing arrives until someone approves it. Likes.io offers 50 followers once. You confirm your email with a code, and the address joins its email list. Its own page says "few requests have been approved so far, and we give no time."
- Free followers for a review. InstaFollower.io offers 100 free followers, and 100 more if you write a Trustpilot review of at least 50 words and send a screenshot.
- A timer you have to sit through. SMM Center's page has to stay open for 30 minutes per order of 10.
- "Free" that's really a sign-up. Outfame's free page asks you to make an account and connect your Instagram account to its growth service. SimplyGram's trial wants your name, your email and a list of accounts whose followers you'd like. FameViso sends anyone who wants "thousands" of free followers to a second site full of tasks.
- The page contradicts itself. Mixx offers 10 followers once, then later on the same page talks about "free twenty-five followers."

What happened to the other free offers?
Of the 29 offers, 21 didn't state a free amount we could read.
| What we found | Offers |
|---|---|
| Blocked our read | 8 |
| No working offer | 4 |
| A sign-up or task site | 3 |
| A form, no amount shown | 2 |
| No claim on the page | 3 |
| A follow exchange | 1 |
Our read of 29 free follower offers, October 22, 2026.
The blocked ones sit behind a Cloudflare check, so we couldn't read them: Buzzoid, Famoid, GetAFollower, Mr Popular, Poprey, Skweezer, Superviral and Trollishly. That says nothing good or bad about their offers.
Four offers weren't working. Famety's free page answered "not found." SidesMedia's free page now forwards to its homepage. Zefame's free service said it was in maintenance. And getinsta.com showed a "this website is for sale" page.
Do free follower sites ask for your Instagram password?
Not from what we saw. None of the 17 pages we could read asked for an Instagram password, and most say so on the page.
Password apps were the old problem. In 2018, Instagram said it would start "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity." It told people who'd shared a password: "If you receive an in-app message, simply change your password to revoke their access to your account."
If any site or app asks for your Instagram password, close it. If you already gave it away, change your password, as Instagram advised. Connecting your account through a growth service's login screen is a different kind of access, so read what it's allowed to do first. Apps are a separate story: we checked 46 free follower apps in the two app stores.
Why are Google's top results for free followers spam?
Search "free instagram followers" and most of the top 10 aren't growth sites at all. On October 22, 2026, 7 of Google's top 10 US results were spam files uploaded to unrelated sites. They sat in a university library's journal system, an EU agency's bulletin, a software company's help portal and a UN volunteer site. The other three were two YouTube videos and a Reddit thread.
For "how to get free instagram followers," 6 of the top 10 were the same kind of upload, including a post on a US government grants forum.
| Result | Free IG followers | How to get them |
|---|---|---|
| Spam upload | 7 | 6 |
| YouTube | 2 | 2 |
| 1 | 1 | |
| Play Store app | 0 | 1 |

Treat a "top 10 free follower sites" list that lives in a PDF or a journal file as spam, whatever domain it's on. Don't type your username into the sites it sends you to. Searches for a free Instagram followers generator turn up the same kind of files.
Do free followers help your posts get seen?
They change the number on your profile. They don't do much for your reach.
Instagram says Feed ranking depends most on your activity, information about the post, information about the person who posted, and your history of interacting with them. In Explore, information about the post comes first. Followers who never watch, like or share don't add to those signals.
Free followers can also disappear. Instagram removes inauthentic follows from accounts that use third-party apps to grow, and the free claims that mention a refill say there isn't one.
What a bigger number does is make a new profile look less empty to a visitor. That's the honest use of a free batch.
How do you get free followers without a site?
Free batches top out at 10 to 100. Lasting growth comes from posts people want to share.
- Post original reels. Instagram makes reels that were already posted on Instagram less visible. It also stops recommending accounts that post other people's content 10 or more times in 30 days without changing it in a real way.
- Follow for follow, if you accept the trade. In one test published by Agorapulse, following about 2,500 accounts over two weeks took a business account from 629 to 983 followers. That's a lot of follows for each follower gained. Weigh it up in follow for follow on Instagram.

Does Hclout give free Instagram followers?
Hclout's free tier hands out small rewards on a cooldown, with no password, no survey and no app. Right now it offers 12 free Instagram likes and 100 free Instagram views. The free Instagram followers page shows whether free Instagram followers are in stock today.
The catch: There isn't one. Seriously. We offer a free tier because we know once you see the quality, you'll want more. It's confidence in our product.
Every claim becomes a real order with its own tracking page, the same as a paid order. If you'd rather skip the free batches, paid Instagram followers start whenever you do.
Are free Instagram followers legal?
The US rule people mean is about business. An FTC rule from 2024 makes it illegal to buy fake followers you "knew or should have known to be fake" when they "materially misrepresent" your influence "for a commercial purpose." It's 16 CFR 465.8. If you run a business or sell sponsorships, keep that in mind before you add followers of any kind.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get free Instagram followers?
Yes, in small batches. The free sites we read gave 10 to 100 followers per claim, most 10 or 20, usually once a day or only once.
Which free follower sites actually work?
We can't tell you which ones deliver, because we read the pages and didn't claim. The clearest offers on the page were Leofame (20 every 24 hours), Firezup (10 every 24 hours), Naizop (10 every 12 hours) and SMM Center (10 per 30-minute order).
Are free Instagram followers real?
Every site says its followers are real, and you can't check that before you claim. Instagram removes inauthentic follows from accounts that grow with third-party apps, and the free claims that mention a refill say there isn't one. Expect some to drop.
Do I need to give my password for free followers?
No. None of the 17 readable free pages asked for one. If anything asks for your Instagram password, close it, and change your password if you already gave it.
Can I get free Instagram followers with no login?
Yes. Leofame and Naizop asked for a username only. Others want an account or an email: Firezup asks you to make a free account, and Likes.io wants an email code.
Why are the top Google results for free followers so bad?
Most of them are spam files uploaded to unrelated sites. On October 22, 2026, 7 of the top 10 US results for "free instagram followers" were uploads like that.
How do I get followers without following anyone?
Post reels people share, and keep them original: Instagram makes reels that were already posted on Instagram less visible. A free claim adds a small number without any following.
