SMM Panels That Shut Down or Changed in 2025
What happened to SMM panels in 2025, dated: Growthoid left Instagram, stormlikes.net and social-viral.com forwarded to Buzzoid, and what to do if yours went.
Several growth shops stopped selling under their own names in 2025. We dated each change from the Internet Archive's copies, registry records and our own checks of each address in October 2026. Two old shop addresses, social-viral.com and stormlikes.net, began forwarding to Buzzoid that year. We sell followers, likes and views too, so read this as a competitor's list.
Quick Answer: In 2025, social-viral.com began forwarding to Buzzoid on March 10, stormlikes.net began forwarding to a Buzzoid address on June 27, and Growthoid's Instagram page started sending visitors to its TikTok page in July. By late 2026, growthoid.com forwarded to SidesMedia, social-viral.com landed on HowSociable, and stormlikes.net had become a research site. If a panel you paid has gone quiet, go to your card issuer or PayPal first.

SocialViral
The shop at social-viral.com published monthly pages until January 13, 2025. From March 10, 2025, the address forwarded to Buzzoid, and from November 1, 2025 to Buzzoid's likes page. On March 23, 2026, it pointed to Likes.io, and on October 22, 2026 it landed on HowSociable, a review site. socialviral.com showed an empty page that day, and its registration runs to November 8, 2026. HowSociable says that address became a domain-for-sale listing on July 22, 2026.
An earlier version of this page said SocialViral's domain had expired. The record shows it's still registered, so we've corrected it. Our SocialViral review traces every address.
Stormlikes
stormlikes.net was a shop "starting at $0.99" in December 2024. From June 27, 2025 it forwarded to a Buzzoid address, and from February 8, 2026 to Likes.io. Since May 10, 2026 it's been a research site that says "We don't sell these services," with a Likes.io ad on top. The other site, stormlikes.com, still sold followers and likes "from $1.19" on October 22, 2026, as Google showed it. Our page on what happened to Stormlikes has the timeline.
Growthoid
Growthoid sold monthly Instagram plans ("It costs $49/month") in January 2025. Its billing policy that March said "Growthoid offers a 14-day money-back guarantee" and "After 14 days of service , we do not offer any refunds." By July 2025, its Instagram followers page sent visitors to its TikTok page, and by May 2026 it sold followers for other apps only. Since July 25, 2026, growthoid.com has forwarded to SidesMedia, cancel page included. ScamAdviser says growthoid.com "has a very low trust score." Our Growthoid timeline has the dates.
Where did these addresses end up in 2026?
Two of them went on to Likes.io after Buzzoid, which wasn't the last stop. Likes.io itself still sold followers in October 2026, at $13.49 for 1,000 on its buy page. Its Trustpilot page showed a removal notice on September 10, 2026, as Virallized, a rival service, quoted it: the business "goes against our guidelines." An earlier version of this page said payment processors cut off InstaBoostGram. We couldn't find anything that confirms it. instaboostgram.com didn't answer our server on October 24, 2026, the archive holds one copy of it, from August 2022, and the domain is registered through 2030. So we've taken it off the list.
What should you do if your panel went quiet?
- Screenshot your orders and receipts before the dashboard disappears.
- Dispute card charges. The CFPB says to send a written notice "within 60 calendar days after the charge appeared on your statement."
- Open a PayPal dispute. An Item Not Received dispute "must be opened within 180 days of the date you sent the payment to the seller," PayPal's terms say.
- Expect little back from crypto. "Cryptocurrency payments typically are not reversible," the FTC says.
