VIPTools: The Site Is Gone, and Has Been for a While
VIPTools has no DNS record and vipto.de serves an empty directory. We checked both on 9 September 2026. Here is when it died and what still works.

If you're looking for VIPTools, you won't find it. Both halves of the brand are dead, and they've been dead long enough that most articles recommending them were already wrong when they were published.

Quick Answer: viptools.es has no DNS record at all, so there's nothing to connect to. The German sibling vipto.de still resolves but serves an empty web root. Around a quarter of a million people search for VIPTools every month and land on parasite sites using the name. What we actually found
We resolved every VIPTools domain against Google Public DNS and fetched each one over HTTPS with a normal browser user agent.

The .app domain is the interesting one. It serves a 114-byte page whose entire job is to bounce you to a lander. It's the same stub that sits on socialenablers.com, another dead tool in this category. Same parking operation, different corpse.
When it broke
The Internet Archive dates this pretty precisely, because file size tells you what a page is even when you can't read it.
The largest saved copies of viptools.es are from December 2019, at around 7.5 KB. That's a real website. Everything from 2020 onwards is about a kilobyte, which is the size of an error page or a redirect. By 22 October 2025 it was returning a 502 error from nginx, and at some point after that the domain lapsed entirely.
vipto.de limped on a bit longer. Its last archived capture, from 7 March 2026, is an Apache directory listing with no files in it. The title is literally Index of / and the table underneath is empty. In November 2025 it was serving a 502.
So VIPTools didn't shut down with an announcement. It degraded for about five years and then the bill stopped getting paid.
What people find instead
Search for VIPTools now and you'll mostly land on viptoolses.com. That's a WordPress blog running a news theme, titled "Viptools es tiktok views like hearts followers 2026 free". It has its own advertising code, a login form, a nav item pointing at Zefoy, and a Vietnamese sports streaming link stuck in the header.
There's no tool on it. It exists to catch the search traffic that the real site used to get and to show adverts to whoever arrives.
This is the standard pattern for a dead brand in this category. The name keeps its search volume for years after the site stops existing, and somebody buys a similar domain to farm it. We found the same thing on IGTools, FBSub and Cookape.
One aggregator page currently ranking for "viptools alternatives" lists ThemeForest, CodeCanyon and TemplateMonster, which are design marketplaces. It also states that VIPTools is "online and reachable" with a timestamp from the same day we found no DNS record at all. Nobody in this category checks anything.
What VIPTools used to do
For the record, since a lot of pages describe it in the present tense.
It gave free TikTok engagement: followers, likes, hearts, comments, video shares and comment hearts. You pasted a username or a video link, and it did not ask for your password. That part was genuinely fine, and it's why the tool got popular.
You'll see it described as a sibling or predecessor of Zefoy, and the two sites did share a look. We found no primary evidence of common ownership, so we're not going to state it as fact.
What to use instead
Zefoy is still running, and it's still the biggest name in this space. It works through a captcha wall, so you'll solve image puzzles between claims. No password, no install. We wrote about whether Zefoy is safe separately.
TikFollowers and Leofame both still deliver free TikTok engagement. Leofame asks for a username and nothing else. TikFollowers asks for a username and a captcha.
