What Happened to FBSub
FBSub.net still loads, but it is a domain parking page now. We dated the shutdown to autumn 2024 and checked it again on 9 September 2026.

FBSub is the trickiest kind of dead site, because it still loads. You type the address, a page appears, and nothing about it says the tool is gone. Then it bounces you to an advert.

Quick Answer: fbsub.net isn't a tool any more. It's a parked domain running a monetisation script that sells your visit to whichever advertiser pays most. It died in autumn 2024. Seventy-four thousand people a month still search for it. What the page is now
The browser tab says Redirecting.... That's the first clue, and most people never look at it.
The page itself contains an advert-blocker detector and a script that posts your visit to a domain parking router. Buried in that request is the site's parking configuration, including the account name it pays out to. Every path we tried, the homepage, /free, /login, /dashboard, returns the same shell.
There's no tool. There's no dashboard. There's a router deciding where to send you based on what your click is worth.
When it broke, closely dated
This one has a clean timeline, and the leading indicator is a detail most people never think to check.
29 July 2024. Its security certificate expired. A site that's still being maintained renews that automatically. One that stops renewing has usually already been abandoned by whoever ran it.
26 August 2024. The last archived copy showing a real website. About 3 KB, still listing free social tools, and still carrying a promotional block for Freer.
23 November 2024. Already a parking page. The archived HTML from that day carries the standard domain-parking payload.
April 2025. Serving redirects only.
February 2026 onward. The parking router it runs today.
So FBSub died somewhere between late August and late November 2024, with the expired certificate a month earlier as the warning sign.
What FBSub used to do
Free auto-likes and auto-followers, and it covered more ground than most: Facebook likes and followers, TikTok hearts and fans, Instagram video views, and YouTube. No login required, which was the selling point.
It was also part of a small network. Its homepage advertised Freer, and both sites shared the same kind of layout. Freer still returns a page today, though there's no tool on that one either. We wrote that up in the Freer review.
The sites now wearing the name
fbsub-net.in and fbsub-net.com are both WordPress sites carrying FBSub branding. The .in one puts an input box on the page labelled for free likes and followers.
Neither is the original. When a brand dies in this category, somebody registers a near-identical domain and farms the leftover search traffic. We found the same thing on IGTools, VIPTools and Cookape. The input box is the part to be careful about: a form that looks like the tool you remember, on a site run by somebody you know nothing about.
What to use instead
Zefoy still works for TikTok, behind a captcha wall. TikFollowers and Leofame also still deliver TikTok engagement without a password, and Leofame asks for a username and nothing else.
Facebook is harder. Most of the free Facebook tools in this category went the same way FBSub did, and the ones still standing are exchanges where you like strangers' posts to earn likes on yours.

Is fbsub-net.in the real FBSub?
No. It's a WordPress site using the name. It has an input box that looks like the old tool, run by people you know nothing about. Be careful what you paste into it.
Was FBSub safe?
It never asked for a login, which was the good part. What's there now is a monetisation router, and the sites using the name today are unknown quantities.
What still gives free Facebook likes?
Very little that we'd recommend. Most free Facebook tools died the same way. The ones left are mostly exchanges where your own account does the liking, which is the activity that carries real risk. We give 20 free Facebook likes on a post without touching your account.
What to do now
If FBSub stopped working for you, nothing on your end broke. The site was abandoned two years ago and what's there now is an advert with a familiar address.
Check the browser tab on any tool you're about to use. "Redirecting...", "Loading..." and "This domain is for sale" all mean the same thing. Then check what it asks for, and stop at any password request.
