Fuelgram was an automated engagement pod for Instagram, and it's gone. Members logged in with their Instagram accounts, and Fuelgram's AutoRounds, FuelGroups and PowerLikes traded likes and comments between them. Its site went quiet in 2020, and today fuelgram.com forwards to a parked-domain page. The pod habit outlived it, though. BuzzFeed News described it in April 2018: "Fuelgram creates fake engagement from real Instagram accounts. And it's quite effective." A Reddit user called it "an automated engagement pod" that October. It ran from inside your account. "After logging in with your username and password, your account would give and receive engagement from the groups," Lume Social recalls. It sells its own Powerlikes today.
What happened to Fuelgram?
It went quiet in 2020. The Internet Archive's copies of fuelgram.com run 8 to 11 KB of page through December 5, 2019. Every copy from July 3, 2020 on is under 2 KB. Lume Social's 2024 post says Fuelgram "shut down in 2020 after being sued by Instagram." We couldn't confirm the lawsuit.
Today fuelgram.com forwards to a parked-domain address, and the registration runs out on November 17, 2026. A Telegram chat under the Fuelgram name still shows 357 members in Google's results.

Most pods moved to Telegram and Discord. A Telegram "24 hour pod" asks you to like "all the links dropped in the last 24 hours" before you post your own. Many groups make you engage with 5, 10 or 20 posts first. Instagram said in 2018 it would remove "inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity," and Fuelgram's rounds ran through a third-party app logged in to your account.
