BoardBooster was a Pinterest tool that pinned for you. It looped old pins, ran pinning campaigns and posted from your connected account. It stopped in mid-2018. "The shutdown of BoardBooster came as a shock to some Pinterest marketers," Tailwind, a rival tool, wrote on July 19, 2018. The domain later sat on a parking sign-in page. Since October 2026 it has carried a new site with free tools for pins, and we found nothing linking it to the old one.

What did BoardBooster do?
The archive's 2018 copies of its app show how it worked. It pinned from your Pinterest account, with alerts like "BoardBooster is unable to pin for you because your Pinterest account is not connected." It had daily pinning limits, and it ran on a free trial and then "monthly plans," by its own pages. Its best-known feature was looping: old pins went back up on the same boards, and duplicates "were deleted automatically so that you can continue to Loop Pins," as Tailwind described it in 2018.
When did BoardBooster shut down?
By July 2018. Tailwind's post of July 19, 2018 said many former users were "struggling to find a new Pinterest scheduler," and it pitched its own tool as the replacement. Earlier pages, including an older version of this one, gave exact dates and quoted a farewell notice. We searched for that notice on October 24, 2026 and found no copy, so we've left it out.

The registry dates the domain to September 8, 2014, and its record last changed on October 21, 2026. Three days later the address carried "Free Pinterest tools for bloggers, sellers and marketers," with 17 tools and the lines "Official Pinterest API" and "Never asks for your password." We don't know who runs it, and nothing on the page ties it to the 2018 tool. It says it's "Being built in the open."
