What Happened to FollowLiker? Where It Stands in 2026
FollowLiker never announced a shutdown. Its bot pages are still listed under a 2021 copyright line, and its domain was renewed in 2026. What we found, dated.
FollowLiker never announced a shutdown. It's a desktop bot for Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Tumblr, and Google still lists its sales pages. "Follow Liker Instagram Edition is very powerful, reliable & super flexible multipurpose software," one of them reads, above a footer dated 2021. The domain was renewed in April 2026. What we couldn't do is reach it. The site gave our server no answer on October 23, 2026, so we couldn't test whether the bot still works with Instagram.
We checked Google's results, the Internet Archive's record and the domain registry on October 23, 2026. We didn't buy or run the software. We run Hclout, which sells followers, so weigh this the way you'd weigh any seller.
Quick Answer: FollowLiker's pages are still up, but they've barely changed since 2021, and we found no sign of new versions. The best FollowLiker alternative is HCLOUT, which runs no software on your account and has a free tier to test first.
What was FollowLiker?
Desktop software that ran your accounts for you. A 2015 Reddit post put it simply: "you just need to open it on your computer and let it run the script." Its pages promise to "automate all your instagram tasks," with a separate edition for each network. In January 2019, Chris Tweten's list of Instagram bots priced it at "$57.99 Upfront + $5.99 Monthly." The domain dates to May 3, 2013.

A homepage that stays the same size for ten years has changed little. That fits the footer, and it fits the rival pages that describe FollowLiker in the past tense. InstaCaptain, which sells its own service, says it "used to get good results until Instagram developed a new spam" filter. Instagram said in 2018 it would remove "inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity."
Is FollowLiker still working?
We can't tell you, and most pages that answer this can't either. FollowLiker's own reviews page still says "Always updates in time." Rivals that rank for its name, like Path Social and Viari, call it risky or a "Legacy Tool," and they sell something else. If you still have a license, test it on an account you don't mind losing before you point it at one you care about.
