What Happened to Socifan? The Dated Timeline
Socifan, checked October 23, 2026: socifan.com now forwards to Famety's site. The dated timeline, what Socifan sold, and where its users stand.
Socifan was a shop for social media growth, and today its address opens Famety. Typing socifan.com on October 23, 2026 landed on famety.net, a page titled "Famety - Buy Instagram Followers, Likes & More." The archive's last copy of Socifan's own page is from April 20, 2026. Neither site says whether Famety bought Socifan, merged with it or took over its name.
We read both sites, their registry records and the Internet Archive's copies through our server on October 23, 2026. We didn't use either service.

About 1,600 people a month still search for "socifan." That's down 18% in Keyword Planner's latest three months, set against the three before.
Is Socifan the same as Famety?
Neither site says so in words. Two things tie them. The old address forwards to famety.net. And Google shows a socifan.com page, dated March 25, 2026, under the title "Free Instagram Username Checker Tool (No Login) | Famety." So Famety's name was on Socifan's pages before the full forward began.
Both domains sit at the same registrar, GoDaddy. That's a very common registrar, so it proves little on its own. We can't check who runs either site from the outside.
Famety's own FAQ says it was "formerly InstaFollowers, founded in 2013." Our Famety review covers its prices, its missing free trial page and its refund terms.
What did Socifan sell?
Its last archived page, from April 20, 2026, sold growth for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Spotify, SoundCloud and Twitch. It said "Socifan never asks for your password" and that "most services start within minutes." Full delivery, it said, could take "up to 24 hours." It also offered free tools for several of those apps.
The same page promised "it's completely safe when you order from socifan.com." Instagram doesn't see it that way. It said in 2018 that it was "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity."
