Why do bought followers disappear? Instagram removes fake follows, and some sellers say drops are normal. What seven sellers promise for refills, dated 2026.
Why do bought followers disappear? Mostly because Instagram removes them. In 2018 it said it would start "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity." The rest comes down to what you bought. Some sellers say so in their own terms. Naizop's terms call drops "normal" and rule out refunds for them, and Famety says its real followers "may unfollow over time." That's why most shops sell a refill window.
We read sellers' pages, terms and archived copies through our server on October 22 and 23, 2026. We didn't buy any followers to count the drops. We run Hclout, which sells followers too, so weigh this the way you'd weigh any seller.
Why do bought followers drop?
There are three common reasons:
- Instagram removes them. Fake accounts, and the follows they leave, get cleared out. When an account that followed you is removed, your count falls with it.
- They unfollow. Famety describes real followers that "may engage with your content, and some may unfollow over time."
- They were never meant to last. Some panels sell followers labeled as bots. GetMyLikes' main Instagram service is called "Instagram Followers (Bot)," with a claimed "Only 5% Drop Ratio."
Famety also sells the opposite trade: "ghost followers" that "never unfollow, but they do not engage." Either way, you're buying a number, and Instagram decides how long it stays.

The fine print matters more than the window:
- GoRead won't refill "if the followers have dropped below the start count of the last order," and says "You can't use any other website to buy followers at the same time."
- Naizop's homepage says "Say goodbye to follower drops," while its terms say drops "are normal and are not refundable."
- Twicsy charges extra to stretch the refill from 30 to 90 days.
- iDigic says it rescans and refills "High-Quality" followers "every 48-72 hours."
Reviewers tell the same story. SmartCustomer's summary of Buzzoid's reviews says bought followers "often drop off within hours or days."
How can you tell what you're buying?
- Read the service name. "Bot" and "No Refill" mean what they say.
- Find the refill window and its rules before you pay.
- Check whether drops are refundable. Many sellers refill instead.
- Keep your order page and the count you started with. Some refills depend on it.
How does Hclout handle drops?
