Flock Social Review 2026: Is It Legit? Prices and Terms
Flock Social costs $39 to $119 a month, and its terms ask for your Instagram password. What its pages promise, what its terms say, and how to cancel.
Flock Social is a working Instagram automation service. It costs $39 to $119 a month. Its terms say "We require the Customer's username and password" to provide the service. With that login, its tool follows people who fit your audience, likes their posts and unfollows them later. Its marketing and its terms don't agree. The homepage promises "not one fake follower." The terms say it "cannot protect You from spam, fake, or inactive followers," since it can't always avoid them. ScamAdviser rates flocksocial.com "Likely Unsafe," in a report last updated nine months ago.
We read Flock Social's homepage, pricing page, FAQ and terms of service through our server on October 23, 2026. We read ScamAdviser, Sitejabber and the domain registry the same day. We didn't sign up or start the trial. We run Hclout, which sells followers, so weigh this the way you'd weigh any seller.

Yearly billing is sold as "50% off." Flock Social shows it as $19, $34 and $64 a month. Every plan lists the same features, and only the follower estimate changes. They include "Follow/Unfollow Automation," "Growth pods network," "Welcome DM Automation," "Auto-like after Follow" and "24/7 Live support." Each monthly plan starts with a "7-day Free Trial." Lower on the same page sit two more plans, "Instagram Rising Star" at $49 a month and "Instagram as a Business" at $99. Flock Social takes US dollars only, by card, PayPal or Apple Pay.
How does Flock Social work?
It works from inside your account, where "our system follows users that fit your audience," its FAQ says. You pick them by the accounts they follow, the hashtags they use and their locations. Once they follow back, "all the users will eventually be unfollowed" by the tool.
Its terms spell out what that takes. When you share your username and password, "You consent to a login from one of Our hubs," which may sit in another region. The terms also put the risk on you. Flock Social is "not responsible for any restrictions" Instagram puts on your account. Instagram said in 2018 it would remove "inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity."

The guarantee moves around, too. Its FAQ says "we are unable to offer any guarantees." Yet the $99 Business plan promises 1,000 followers a month as "Guaranteed." Even the client count changes. The same sentence reads "15,000+ clients" on the homepage and "5000+" on the pricing page.
How do you cancel Flock Social?
Only by asking its support team. The terms say "direct cancellation through the client dashboard is not available," so there's no cancel button. Send the request by live chat or email "at least 24 hours before" the trial ends or the next billing date. Then keep the confirmation email or chat reply, since without one "the subscription will remain active and subject to renewal."
The 7-day trial turns into a paid plan on its own if you don't cancel. Pausing the tool from your dashboard doesn't stop the billing either. Refunds are "reviewed on a case-by-case basis," and yearly plans "are non-refundable."
What do outside checks and buyers say?
ScamAdviser's report says "We discovered mainly negative reviews for this site" and flags a registrar "popular amongst scammers." Its positives are a valid SSL certificate and a domain "set-up several years ago." The registry dates it to October 14, 2017. ScamAdviser sums up: "flocksocial.com might be a scam." Sitejabber, now SmartCustomer, has no reviews of it.
Buyers split. HowSociable's April 15, 2026 review calls it "a legitimate, safe Instagram growth tool" with caveats. The plans it lists, Sprout, Bloom and Garden from $49, aren't on Flock Social's pricing page, though. A Reddit thread from August 12, 2023 says "Instagram blocked the account within hours" of a test. Google's snippet of the Trustpilot page it ranks first shows a reviewer warning people not to pay. And one testimonial on Flock Social's own homepage says "Paused to save up, noticed a drop in my engagement."
Is Flock Social legit?
It's a real business with a domain from 2017, live plans and a support team. The question is what you hand over. Its terms want your password and a login "from one of Our hubs." They leave any Instagram restriction with you. Cancelling takes a support request a day ahead and a written confirmation. If you try it, set a reminder a few days before the trial ends.
