Flock Social Alternatives: What to Use Instead, and What Each Costs
Flock Social costs $39 to $119 a month, and its terms ask for your Instagram password. Six alternatives compared on price, method and account access.
Flock Social charges $39, $69 or $119 a month, by its pricing page on October 23, 2026. Its terms ask for your Instagram password: "To provide the Service We require the Customer's username and password for the social media Account," they say. If that's why you're leaving, the alternatives fall into two groups. Some also act from your account, and some take only your username.

We read Flock Social's pages and terms, and six other services' pricing pages, through our server on October 22 and 23, 2026. We didn't sign up for any of them. "Flock social" gets about 590 Google searches a month, by Google's Keyword Planner on October 23, 2026.
Why do people leave Flock Social?
Its own terms explain most of it. Besides your password, you agree to "a login from one of Our hubs, which may be in a different geographical region." Every plan lists "Follow/Unfollow Automation," "Auto-like after Follow" and a "Growth pods network," so the following happens from your account.
The billing rules are strict. The 7-day trial "will automatically convert into an active, paid subscription" when it ends. Cancellation goes through support only, and requests "must be submitted at least 24 hours before the activation or the next billing cycle." Refunds are "reviewed on a case-by-case basis."
The promises and the terms disagree too. Flock Social's homepage says "Zero spam, no bots, and not one fake follower." Its terms say "We cannot protect You from spam, fake, or inactive followers" to the same customers.
Buyers have noticed. The Trustpilot review Google shows first opens with "DO NOT PAY MONEY TO THESE SCAMMERS." A Reddit user wrote in August 2023 that "Instagram blocked the account within hours" after a test. ScamAdviser rates flocksocial.com "Likely Unsafe," in a report nine months old on October 23, 2026. Flock Social's terms say it's operated by SocialGrowth LLC FZ, at an address in Dubai.

Which alternatives still act from your account?
Nitreo and Upleap list the same tools Flock Social does: "Follow/Unfollow Automation," "Auto-like after Follow," "Welcome DM Automation" and a "Growth pods network," on their pricing pages of October 22, 2026. Kicksta says its targeted growth "Needs your Instagram login." Moving to one of these changes the price, and your account still does the following.
Instagram has a line on this. In 2018 it said it was "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity." Its help center, as Google showed it on October 22, 2026, lists "automating access" without permission among the things its terms don't allow. Which alternatives take only your username?
Outfame says it "takes only your username," and its Go plan is "$49 for the first month after a free 3-day trial." Its refund promise, read October 22, 2026, is "Full refund if no net growth in 30 days."
Ganicly says "Your public username is all we take." Its plans cost $39, $69 or $99 a month, it has no trial, and you can pause a plan "for 30, 60 or 90 days from the plan page."
Plixi ($59 a month) and UpGrow ($69 for the first month) describe AI targeting as well. The pages we read don't say in detail how these services reach people.
