How Much Does TikTok Pay? Creator Rewards, Rules and Real Numbers
TikTok pays through Creator Rewards on qualified views, with no set rate. The 10,000-follower rule, what creators report per 1,000 views, and the math.
TikTok pays creators for views through its Creator Rewards Program, and it publishes no rate. Creators commonly report $0.40 to $1 per 1,000 qualified views, so 1 million qualified views would bring about $400 to $1,000. To join, you need 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, and your videos have to run at least a minute. Only qualified views count, which TikTok defines as authentic views of at least five seconds.
We read TikTok's pages as Google shows them on October 23, 2026, since TikTok's site shuts out our reader, along with the guides that rank for the question. Hclout, the site you're reading, sells TikTok followers too.
How many followers do you need to get paid on TikTok?
| Rule | What TikTok asks |
|---|---|
| Followers | At least 10,000 |
| Views | 100,000 in the last 30 days |
| Video length | At least one minute |
| Content | Original, eligible for rewards |
| Age | 18 or older |
TikTok Support and TikTok's Creator Academy, as Google showed them on October 23, 2026. The age rule is from CBS News (2023) and Fourthwall's 2026 guide.
Fourthwall's guide adds that your account must be "in good standing" and in a country where the program runs. One viral video can bring 100,000 views in a month, and you'll still need the 10,000 followers.
How much does TikTok pay per view?
Every rate you'll see is a creator report, since TikTok publishes none. "TikTok doesn't publish a fixed payment rate for Creator Rewards," Fourthwall's 2026 guide says, and creators commonly report $0.40 to $1 per 1,000 qualified views. Per view, that's $0.0004 to $0.001.
| Qualified views | At $0.40 RPM | At $1 RPM |
|---|---|---|
| 100,000 | $40 | $100 |
| 1 million | $400 | $1,000 |
| 10 million | $4,000 | $10,000 |
Our arithmetic: qualified views times RPM, divided by 1,000, if every view qualifies. RPM means revenue per 1,000 views.
Real totals come in lower, because some views won't qualify. Fourthwall gives an example: a video with 100,000 public views, 70,000 of them qualified, earns about $49 at a $0.70 RPM.
Which TikTok views count toward pay?
"A view is qualified if it is authentic, lasting at least five seconds," TikTok's Creator Academy says, as Google shows it. The same page names fraudulent views and paid promotions in its list. One 2026 guide, from Reacher, says earnings start only after a video reaches 1,000 qualified views in the For You feed.
So the views that pay are real people watching an original video of a minute or more, for at least five seconds.
What happened to the TikTok Creator Fund?
It's closed. In November 2023, TikTok told CBS News the fund would "no longer be available to creators in the U.S., UK., Germany and France starting on Dec. 16, 2023," and creators could move to its newer program. TikTok said that program would let creators "earn up to 20 times more than they did on the Creator Fund," in CBS's words. It ran as the Creativity Program Beta before it became Creator Rewards.
The old fund paid very little. Hank Green said he made "about 2.5 cents per 1,000 views," CBS reported. Guides that still quote 2 to 4 cents per 1,000 views are describing the closed fund.
Can you buy followers to reach 10,000?
Many sites sell TikTok followers, and Hclout is one of them. TikTok's rules, as Google shows them, don't allow "the trade of services that artificially boost engagement or trick the recommendation system" on the app. TikTok also says it will "remove fake likes, followers, or other inflated signals" it finds. And only authentic views qualify for rewards. Our page on whether you can buy TikTok followers covers prices and those rules.
TikTok also pays through gifts on LIVE. Our guide to TikTok gift values covers what each one costs, and our guide on how to go live on TikTok covers who can stream. Our free tier gives 25 free TikTok likes and 100 free TikTok views on a public video, on the free page. There's no password and nothing to install, and a short Cloudflare check runs before each claim.
