How Much Is a Galaxy on TikTok? What Each Gift Costs

A Galaxy costs 1,000 TikTok coins, about $10 to $15. The Lion, Rose and Universe in coins and dollars, and why no guide can tell you the creator's cut.

A Galaxy costs 1,000 TikTok coins, which works out to about $10 to $15, depending on where and how the coins were bought. A Rose is 1 coin, a Lion is 29,999 and the TikTok Universe is 44,999, going by catalog reads from August 2026. What reaches the creator is harder to pin down. TikTok publishes no fixed payout, and guides' estimates for a Galaxy run from about $2.50 to $8.

We read the gift guides that rank for these questions on October 23, 2026, and TikTok's Virtual Items Policy as Google shows it, since TikTok's site shuts out our reader. We didn't buy coins.

How much are TikTok gifts worth?

GiftCoinsViewer pays, about
Rose11 to 2 cents
Finger Heart55 to 8 cents
Galaxy1,000$10 to $15
Lion29,999$300 to $450
TikTok Universe44,999$450 to $675

Coin counts from Stack Influence's read of TikTok's gift catalog in August 2026, and the Rose from Captions' May 2026 list. Dollars are our arithmetic at $10 to $15 per 1,000 coins, Stack Influence's 2026 estimate.

TikTok shows the real price itself. Its Virtual Items Policy, as Google shows it, says "The exchange rate between each Coin and Gift will be displayed" to you. Stack Influence reads the same policy as putting the coin price at checkout, and as letting TikTok change coins, gifts and rates.

How much are TikTok coins in dollars?

The price per coin depends on the bundle, your country and where you buy. Stack Influence's 2026 estimate is $10 to $15 per 1,000 coins. Captions puts coins at "approximately $0.015 USD at web prices," about $15 per 1,000. It also says buying on TikTok's website saves 26% to 31%, since Apple and Google take a cut of purchases in the app. Taxes and currency change the total too.

How much does a creator get from a Galaxy?

TikTok publishes no fixed payout for gifts, so every figure online is a guide's estimate:

GuideCreator gets
wikiHowAbout $2.50
Captions, May 2026Roughly $5
The Marketing Heaven, 2025$7 to $8

Each guide's own page or Google's preview of it, read October 23, 2026. None of them cites a TikTok figure.

That's more than a threefold spread for the same gift. Stack Influence says "many articles incorrectly turn the viewer's estimated purchase cost into the creator's estimated income," and that's the mistake to avoid.

Viewers spend coins on gifts, and creators receive Diamonds, which they can cash out under TikTok's rules. After a LIVE, your LIVE summary shows the gifts you got, and your Diamond balance shows what you can withdraw.

Why do TikTok gift price lists disagree?

Some lists are plainly wrong. Lucagency's 2026 list prices the Lion at "around 1,000 coins" and the Universe at "roughly 5,000 coins," while both catalog reads above put the Lion at 29,999. Captions' own numbers clash too. At its rate of $0.015 a coin, its 29,999-coin Lion would cost about $450, against the "~$315" it lists.

Check the gift tray in the app before you send anything big. That's the price TikTok itself shows you.

Who can receive TikTok gifts?

Creators have to meet TikTok's LIVE rules first. Captions lists the gift rules as 18 or older (19 in South Korea, 20 in Japan), a personal account, 1,000 followers and an account at least 30 days old. Our guide on how to go live on TikTok covers the LIVE side. Our page on how much TikTok pays covers Creator Rewards, its other way to earn from views.

How do you get free coins on TikTok?

TikTok sells coins in its app and on its website, and its policy says coins can only be used on the platform. Be careful with any site that promises free coins in exchange for your login.

We run Hclout, which sells TikTok likes and followers. Our free tier gives 25 free TikTok likes and 100 free TikTok views on a public video, on the free page. There's no password and nothing to install, and a short Cloudflare check runs before each claim. Neither one turns into coins or Diamonds.
