TikTok Repost: How to Repost, Remove One and Find Yours

Press and hold a video to repost it. TikTok's three ways to remove a repost, where your reposts live, bulk removers, and what you can do about others.

By Hclout Team4 min read

To repost on TikTok, TikTok Support says to "Press and hold on the video, then tap Repost" to share it. To remove a repost, go back to that video and tap the Share button, then Delete repost. Your reposts live in the tab with two arrows on your profile. TikTok removes them one at a time, so if you've got hundreds, it's patience or a bulk tool that works through your account.

We read TikTok Support as Google shows it on October 23, 2026, since TikTok's site shuts out our reader. We didn't repost or remove anything ourselves.

How do you remove a repost on TikTok?

TikTok's help page lists three ways. Start by going to the content you reposted.

WaySteps
Share menuShare, then Delete repost
Press and holdHold the video, then Remove repost
Profile photoTap your photo, then Remove

FS Poster adds that a pop-up asks you to confirm, and you "select 'remove' to erase the repost" from your account. Removing a repost takes your share away, and it doesn't touch the original. That stays on its creator's account.

How do you find your reposts on TikTok?

Go to your profile and look for the tab with two arrows. wikiHow says "To see your reposts on TikTok, go to your profile and tap the icon with two arrows" next to your videos. Every repost you've made is listed there.

Can you remove all your reposts at once?

Not inside TikTok. Redact puts it plainly: "TikTok only lets you remove them one at a time through the Share menu." Bulk removers do the clicking for you.

ToolHow it works
RedactConnect your account, desktop app
RepostZapLog in on TikTok's page
UnrepostifyAn iPhone app

Each tool's own page, read October 23, 2026, and Unrepostify's App Store listing as Google showed it.

RepostZap says "Your login happens on TikTok's own page; your password never touches our app," and that it runs "the same Remove repost action you'd do by hand, automated." Redact says to "Connect your TikTok account" first, and bulk deletion is a premium feature there. Either way, an outside app acts on your account. If you don't want that, the Share menu still works for each one.

Can you stop other people reposting your videos?

There isn't a switch for that. groovyPost says "there isn't a way to stop reposting on TikTok," though "you can block people from reusing your posts in other ways." A private account limits the reach. wikiHow notes people "can still repost your videos if your account is private," but then the video "will only be seen by your followers" when they do.

TikTok also lets you choose who sees each post. Its help page says "We provide tools that allow you to control who can see your posts and select the audience of each post" when you share it.

Do reposts help your videos grow?

Reposts are one way a video travels from one account to another. Our glossary entry on reposts explains the term. For a little extra push on a public video, Hclout's free tier gives 25 free TikTok likes and 100 free TikTok views, with no password, on the free page.
