TikTok Watch History: How to See, Clear and Turn It On
TikTok keeps the videos you watched in the last 180 days in Activity center. How to see them, delete some or all, fix an empty history, and get it on desktop.
TikTok keeps a list of the videos you've watched in the last 180 days. You'll find it under Settings and privacy, then Activity center, then Watch history. Lifewire's February 2026 guide says the Activity Center shows "all videos you've watched in the past 180 days," and The Verge described the same 180-day gallery back in 2022. If your history is empty, it may be switched off, and there's a toggle for that. On a computer there's no history screen, but you can request your data.

How do you see your TikTok watch history?
- Open TikTok and tap Profile at the bottom.
- Tap the menu with three lines at the top right.
- Tap Settings and privacy.
- Tap Activity center.
- Tap Watch history.
You'll see a gallery of the videos you've watched. "How to see watch history on tiktok" gets about 2,900 searches a month, up 30%.
How far back does TikTok watch history go?
About 180 days. wikiHow says "TikTok keeps a list of all the videos you have watched in the past 180 days." Some older guides still say seven days, so go by what your own app shows.

How do you clear your TikTok watch history?
Open Watch history, then tap Select in the top right corner, or press and hold one video. Choose the videos you want to remove and tap Delete. To clear the lot, select all and delete. TikTok's own topic pages describe the same steps, as Google shows them. "How to clear watch history on tiktok" gets about 480 searches a month.
Why is your TikTok watch history not working?
Searches for this jumped 421% in recent months, from a small base of about 260 a month. Check these things first:
- Make sure it's switched on. Geekflare says the settings gear in Watch history has a toggle "to enable it," and you can "disable the watch history anytime from this toggle."
- Update the app. Older versions can put Watch history in a different menu.
- Look in the right account. History belongs to the account you were logged into.
- Remember the 180 days. Anything older won't show.
Can you see TikTok watch history on a computer?
Not directly. Geekflare says "There is no straightforward way to see your watch history on the desktop version of TikTok." The workaround is to request your data. In Settings, open the privacy section and choose Download your data, then request it. Geekflare says the file "may take up to four days."
