What was Boostfy?

It's a like bot with targeting. Webrazzi described it on March 27, 2017 as a "like-based" growth tool with SaaS pricing, starting at $10 a month. It aimed at tattoo artists, photographers, models, designers and small brands. Users picked the hashtags, locations and audiences to like, and the tool liked up to 960 photos a day, "probably" because of Instagram's API limits, Webrazzi wrote. It was founded by Buğra Kaan Ayaz and Nejat Can Ünlü, and it had worked with many small brands before opening to individual users.

Why did Boostfy close?

Instagram didn't want tools like it, and it pushed them out. The founder's Medium post, "Shutting Boostfy Down," said the closure came at Instagram's request and tied the service's technical problems to Instagram's crackdown on automation, by a web search on October 24, 2026. Medium keeps our reader out, so we can't quote the post or give its exact date. One reply under it is titled "Super sorry to hear man, I really loved Boostfy and I was indeed wondering what happened lately."

The crackdown hadn't started with Boostfy. Instagress shut down in April 2017, by Medium posts a web search showed, and Mass Planner "closed for good in May 2017, and its notice cited a request from Instagram," by our Mass Planner page. In November 2018, Instagram said it would begin "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity."

What do Boostfy's addresses show now?

boostfy.com, registered on April 13, 2017, showed an empty page to our server on October 24, 2026, and its registration runs to April 2027. boostfy.co, where the service ran, has archive copies from April 2017 on, server errors in 2024 and 2025, and a small page in 2026. Its robots.txt answered with an error when we checked, so we didn't read it, and that's the limit of what we can see.

An earlier version of this page gave a $2 million revenue figure, a $200 lifetime plan and a $29,850 sale price for the domain. We couldn't find a source for any of them, so they're gone. It also listed Instazood as shut down in 2019, and our Instazood page found it still selling a bot in October 2026.

Was Boostfy a scam?

We couldn't find anything saying so. It sold a working like bot, by Webrazzi's account, and it closed when Instagram moved against automation. The risk was the method.
