In order, the artists are The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, The Neighbourhood, The Weeknd with Daft Punk, Harry Styles, Drake with Wizkid and Kyla, Post Malone with Swae Lee, Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran and The Kid LAROI with Justin Bieber. That's two songs each for The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran.
The order's moved since April. Spotify's list had "Someone You Loved" sixth, ahead of "Sunflower" and "One Dance." By October, both had passed it on kworb's count.
Is any song catching up to "Blinding Lights"?
It won't happen soon. "Blinding Lights" got 1,374,328 streams on kworb's latest day, and "Shape of You" got 1,392,709. That's only about 18,000 a day more, against a lead of 492 million.
"Sweater Weather" is moving much faster. It drew 2,690,673 streams that day, about 1.3 million more than "Shape of You." If both keep that pace, it'll take second place in roughly 140 days. A few older songs are still climbing fast, too. "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls got 2.72 million streams that day, the most of any top 25 song.
"Blinding Lights" took the record on January 1, 2023, Wikipedia's records page says, when it had about 3.33 billion streams. It's held it for 1,391 days. Before it, "Shape of You" held the top spot from September 21, 2017.
