Upleap Alternative (2026): Prices and Passwords
Upleap costs $39 to $119 a month, and its terms require your Instagram password. Alternatives on dated reads, from no-password plans to per-order shops.
Upleap is a monthly Instagram growth subscription that works from inside your account. On October 24, 2026, its plans cost $39, $69 or $119 a month, or $19, $34 and $64 a month billed yearly, each after a 7-day free trial. Its terms say "We require the Customer's username and password," and its plans list "Follow/Unfollow Automation" and "Welcome DM Automation" among their features. The alternatives below are grouped by what they ask of you.
Quick Answer: For a plan without a password, Plixi's homepage says "no passwords," at $59 a month or $29 billed yearly. Nitreo costs what Upleap does and needs your password too. "Upleap automatically interacts with targeted Instagram users on your behalf," its page says. Every plan lists "Follow/Unfollow Automation," "Welcome DM Automation," "Auto-like after Follow" and a "Growth pods network." To do that, it logs in as you. "By connecting Your social media Account and sharing Your username and password, You consent to a login from one of Our hubs, which may be in a different geographical region," its terms say.
Instagram has a line on this. In 2018 it said it would begin "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity." Its help center, as Google shows it, lists "automating access" without its permission among the things its terms don't allow. Upleap's own terms put the risk on you: "The Customer uses the Service at their own risk."
Its outside record is weak. SmartCustomer (Sitejabber) shows 2.6 from 24 reviews on an unclaimed page, most of them one star. ScamAdviser labels upleap.com "Likely Unsafe," in a report last updated seven months before our read. Our Upleap review has more.

Plans that ask for less
Plixi. It cost $59 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly, on October 23, 2026. Its homepage says "No bots, no fake followers, no passwords," though setup starts "After connecting your Instagram account," by its pricing page. "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund," its guarantee reads. Our Plixi review has the details.
Outfame and UpGrow. Outfame charged $49 a month and UpGrow $69 for the first month, on October 22, 2026. Both refund only when there's no net growth. "Full refund if no net growth in 30 days," Outfame's page says, and UpGrow offers a "full refund if there's no net-positive growth after 7 days." Net growth means you've got more followers at the end than at the start, so a small gain ends either guarantee. Outfame's own Upleap page pitches it to "anyone who won't share a password."
Nitreo. It's the closest match, at the same $39 a month or $19 billed yearly. It lists "Follow/Unfollow automation" too, and it needs your password. If the password is why you're leaving Upleap, Nitreo won't change that. Our Nitreo review covers its terms.

What should you do before leaving Upleap?
- Cancel in time. Its terms ask you to cancel "at least 24 hours before the end of the Customer's current billing cycle." Miss that, and "the Customer is obliged to fulfill the last month of the billing prior to cancellation."
- Cancel for real. Pausing doesn't cancel. The terms say turning off the interactions on your dashboard "does not cancel the subscription and related charges."
- Change your Instagram password. Upleap logged in as you, and Instagram's advice for a third-party app is to "simply change your password to revoke their access to your account."
