Instagress Alternatives in 2026: What's Left After the Bots
Instagress alternatives: instagress.com still says it's closed, and most bots that replaced it are gone too. What's left, its cost, and what needs a login.
Looking for Instagress alternatives? Most of the bots people moved to after Instagress closed have shut down too. Instagress itself closed on April 20, 2017, and said it did so at Instagram's request. On October 23, 2026, instagress.com still showed the same message: "Sorry, but our web-service is closed." What's left today splits three ways. Some services still automate your account and need your login. The apps now schedule posts themselves. And shops sell followers outright.

Instagress's tweet at the time, as Refinery29 quoted it, said it had "closed our web-service that helped you so much." The Verge reported that it blamed a "request" by Instagram. Its site now tells former users to "login using your Instagress account to request a refund." The domain is renewed until 2027.
The others went the same way. Jarvee's site says it's "permanently closed." Ingramer's address no longer answers, and the business trades as Inflact, which moved away from bots. Inflact's July 2026 post, where its old bot address now forwards, says Instagram bots "actively damage your account."

Instazood sells an "Instagram bot for follow, like, comment, unfollow." Kicksta says plainly that it needs your password. Its terms say you "consent to a login from one of Our hubs." Its plans cost $69 or $129 a month. Our Kicksta review goes through its terms.
These run into the same rule that ended Instagress. In 2018, Instagram said it would start "removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity."
What can you use that doesn't touch your login?
