How to Create a Facebook Page

To create a Facebook Page in the app, tap Menu, tap Pages, tap Create, then enter your Page name and pick a category. On a computer, go to facebook.com/pages/create and do the same. It takes a few screens, and you'll need to be logged in to your Facebook account. Then add a profile photo, a cover photo and your details so people know what the Page is for.

We read Meta's business help center as Google showed it on October 23, 2026. Facebook's pages refuse our reader, so the steps are quoted from Google's view of them.

How do you create a Facebook Page in the app?

Meta's business help center lists these steps:

1. "Tap Menu in the top left of Facebook."
2. "Tap Pages."
3. "At the top left, tap Create."
4. "Enter your Page name, and tap Next."
5. Pick a category, then finish the setup.

Can't find Menu? Meta's video lesson puts it at the bottom right instead, so check both corners.

You'll want the Facebook app for this. Meta's help center says that on a "mobile browser or the Facebook Lite app, you will need to sign into Facebook on a computer or use the Facebook app" to create a Page.

How do you create a Facebook Page on a computer?

Meta's business lessons give the shortest route:

1. "Go to facebook.com/pages/create."
2. "Choose a name for your Page."
3. "Select a category."
4. Fill in what's required, then create the Page.

The menu's another way in. Log in, click Pages on the left, and "Below Your Pages and profiles, click Create new Page," Meta's help center says.

Should you make a Page or use professional mode?

Both can earn, but they're set up differently. A Page is separate from your personal profile, while professional mode is a setting on your own profile. Meta's business help center describes a path where you "Select Professional, then click Next. Select Create a new Page," so a Page is one of the professional options. What should you do after creating a Page?

• Add a profile photo and a cover photo. They're the first things visitors see.
