Kick's guidelines target bots, view-botting and inauthentic engagement rather than two streamers following each other. Mutual follows between real accounts break nothing written.
Followers on Kick are visible social proof and one input to how established a channel reads, and unlike most platforms here the money system (subs, gifted subs) sits close to the follow button. The metric that actually builds a channel is still concurrent viewers.
Low for manual follows. Dropping F4F requests in other streamers' chats is the fast way to get banned from those channels and remembered in a scene that is still small enough to remember.

The same arithmetic applies on every platform. Engagement rate is your likes and comments divided by your followers, and traded followers add to the bottom of that fraction without touching the top. An account sitting at 10% can fall to 1% without a single real follower leaving.

Ten to twenty follows an hour looks like a person. Two hundred looks like software.
